Client Domain Nameservers Setup #
Nameservers are set on the service where you have purchased the domain name.
Nameserver 1: ns1.dns.fixd.eu
Nameserver 2: ns2.dns.fixd.eu
It is generally recommended to use only two nameservers for your domains when hosting with us unless you really know what you are doing.
Tertiary Nameservers Setup #
There are many places that offer free secondary DNS service. Here are two of the places we recommend, although if you are not familiar with DNS it is recommended to not use these services.
FreeDNS Service from Afraid.Org #
- To enable 3rd level backup DNS servers, please create your free account here:

- After creation of your free account, please setup your domain in the FreeDNS service as a Backup DNS here: https://freedns.afraid.org/secondary/

- To enable 4th level backup DNS servers, please create your free account here:
- https://accounts.hetzner.com/signUp
- After creation of your free account, please setup your domain in the service as a Backup/Secondary DNS here: https://dns.hetzner.com
